Cosmewax completes FDA Registration under the MoCRA cosmetics regulation

In December 2023, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued final guidance on cosmetic product listing and facility registration. The document aims to help the cosmetics industry understand the new MoCRA cosmetics registration requirements and comply with them.

The FDA informed the industry that they will not enforce the registration requirements until July 1, 2024. However, Cosmewax has already completed the requirements:

The process has been the following:

1. Registration of Cosmewax as a company (Facility). We have registered our two manufacturing sites and it must be renewed every two years.

2. Register our clients in the United States along with the categories of products we manufacture for them.

3. Product Listing: The last step, is carried out once Cosmewax has completed the two previous steps.
