Cosmewax doubles its production capacity

Cosmewax expands the production capacity of its cosmetic factories

Cosmewax chooses the town of Puzol (Valencia) for the location of the new Cosmetics headquarters. In addition, it renovates and expands its Depilatories factory in Jerez.

The cosmetics manufacturing company that exports to more than 50 countries and employs over 250 people, expands its production capacity to respond to customer demand.

After the exponential growth experienced in recent years, and record-breaking sales of 31 million euros in 2020, the company has decided to invest a total of 9 million euros, expecting to reach 60 million euros in 2023.

The chosen location for the cosmetics headquarters is Parc Sagunt, one of the largest business parks in Europe, located in Sagunto, Valencia.

It will cover 12,000 square meters, including space for the manufacturing of cosmetics, a warehouse, offices and laboratories with the latest equipment.

This project to double the production capacity, in collaboration with the Sagunto City Council and “La Generalitat Valenciana,” will be completed during the first quarter of 2022 and is expected to employ 100 workers.

Also, thanks to the support of the Jerez City Council and “La Junta de Andalucía”, the depilatories headquarters in Jerez will be renovated and expanded, with an addition of 6,000 square meters, 3,500 of which will be used for the factory. The completion of the project is expected during the second quarter of 2020, adding about 30 new jobs to the 200 existing job positions.

With these acquisitions, Cosmewax intends to double its current production capacity and consolidate its position as a leading cosmetics manufacturer worldwide.
