Cosmewax Donation: Supporting FESBAL's Mission

Cosmewax DONATION contributes to face hunger in the community to help the fight against the current crisis. Especially during this season, Spain’s Federation of Food Banks (FESBAL) makes the ‘big campaign’ to distribute lots of food all around the country, in order to bring some hope to families and associations.

The hunger crisis has been exacerbated by COVID and Cosmewax wanted to help by covering the most important need: eating. The company, manufacturer of cosmetic products nationally and internationally, has donated a grant of 10.000€ to the Food Bank of Cadiz and 10.000€ to the Food Bank of Valencia.

Cosmewax is committed to these food banks because local groups can and are stepping in to make a positive change. As Jaime Serra, president of the food bank of Valencia said: “Thanks to this kind of collaboration, we can make the project possible”. Both presidents have shown their happiness and have deeply appreciated the support of the company. 

FESBAL is a charity that helps those who have been impacted by hunger in Spain. They provide basic food to more than 1.800.000 people per year with a network of 54 food banks to help people all over the country.

Cosmewax donation has already contributed to minimizing the shortage of essential medical equipment in many Spanish hospitals by distributing 47.000 gloves between the Hospital de Jerez de la Frontera and the Hospital de la Fe (Valencia). A measure with which it wants to contribute to slowing down the pandemic and the serious social, economic, and public health consequences it is causing.
